The Midnight Rush at the Raging Russell Adventure Race (MRAR) returns for 2008 as part of the TrailBlazers Race Series! Teams of three will trek, paddle, mountain bike, navigate and rappel in both darkness and daylight. The race is SUPPORTED so you do need a support crew. This race is USARA sanctioned. You will need to be a USARA member or purchase a one-day license if you are not a USARA member for $8. You can also purchase a yearly USARA membership for $35.
Trailblazers membership is included in the race entry fee. If you are not a member or need to renew your membership you will be paying an additional amount. If your membership expires before October 30 you will need to renew your membership.
For 2008, the MRAR is a USARA regional qualifier for the USARA National Championship Race to be held in November near Blue Ridge, GA. A $400 sponsorship will be paid towards the entry fee for the winning coed team of the Midnight Rush race to the 2008 USARA Adventure Race National Championship.
The Midnight Rush is the second race in the TrailBlazers Series. The top 10 coed teams will be awarded series points as follows:

Check-in will start at 7am on Saturday September. The race will start at 10 am. All team must be finished by midnight. Those teams not finished by midnight will face time penalties or disqualification.
Bikes and boats must be dropped prior to the start of the race. You will receive detailed info on that closer to race day.

Teams of three can be coed, all male, or all female. Only teams of three are allowed. The race will only have 60 team slots available.
We have lots of prizes to award to the top teams and in a raffle drawing in which all racers and volunteers are eligible to participate! You must be present to win in the raffle. Prizes will go at least 5 deep in the co-ed division and may go three deep in the male & female divisions depending on the number of registered teams.
